French for Adults

Standard Courses

These group courses are organized over a period of 8 weeks. Emphasis is placed on the spoken word, with teachers and students using textbook (Latitudes 1,2 & 3 from Didier www.didierlatitudes.com) and CDs that cover French conversation, verb conjugation, listening comprehension and writing; complementary online exercises are available for each module. The teaching method is based on the “Latitudes” textbooks (Editions Didier) and “Alter Ego” (Editions Nathan) that have been designed particularly for adults. The goals and contents of these textbooks are closely related to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), a result of extensive research, conducted by the Council of Europe and adopted at the beginning of this millennium. They can be combined with thematic courses or private lessons to strengthen specific skills.
