The story
For nine years, Jay has driven his taxi through the streets of Tokyo, searching for Lily, the daughter he lost contact with after separating from her Japanese mother. Just as he finally gives up hope and prepares to return to France, a twelve-year-old girl steps into his cab. Jay is convinced she is Lily—but she doesn’t recognize him. As a fragile bond begins to form between them, he must find a way to reconnect with the daughter who has grown up without him.
